VABP-S1-1V1G-G14-2M-R3 sub-base 2614863. The sub-base VABP can be used to help implement specific switch-off behaviour when switching off the valve load voltage
Product Description
Festo Sub-base VABP-S1-1V1G-G14-2M-R3, 2614863 Width=42 mm, Function port 32=G1/8, Function port 34=G1/8, Pneumatic port 22=(* G1/4, * Sub-base), Pneumatic port 44=(* Sub-base, * G1/4)
The sub-base VABP can be used to help implement specific switch-off behaviour when switching off the valve load voltage. It is a single-channel solution for uncoupling the drive from the power valve.
4 switch-off functions are possible. The sub-base is not a safety device, nor is it a complete safety solution. However, it can form part of a safety solution.
Key features:
• Compact design
• Simple installation
• Suitable for servo-pneumatic drives
• Can be attached directly to the proportional directional control valve VPWP
• Connecting cable for direct connection to the proportional directional control valve VPWP
• Suitable for cylinders that are controlled by 5/2- or 5/3-way valves
• For ISO valves with spring return and external auxiliary pilot air
• Extended range of accessories:
• ISO solenoid valves with switching position sensing for producing a diagnostic rate > 60%
Valves and valve terminals
Valves are pneumatic components that are used in automation technology to control actuators such as cylinders, rodless cylinders, motors or grippers. When it comes to the valves themselves, a distinction is made between pneumatically actuated valves, electric valves and manually actuated valves, which are available from Festo in many different designs and versions. In addition, we also offer valves for use with valve terminals, depending on the system requirements.
Valves in pneumatics
Pneumatics are used in industrial automation to transmit movement or force and this is usually done with the help of compressed air. The movement itself is carried out by actuators; these are in turn controlled by valves or valve terminals in automation technology.

Electric and pneumatic valves for every application area
Festo valves can be used across the board or configured individually, depending on the application. In addition to directional control valves, shut-off valves, flow or pressure regulators, our product portfolio also includes piezo valves – proportional pressure regulators that are characterised by their long service life and minimal energy requirements.
Electrically and pneumatically actuated directional control valves
A directional control valve is used to change, open or block the flow of compressed air in a pneumatic system.
